NO Food
Retest @ 9:50AM

This No food-wait & retest seems dumb....Of course it will probably RISE at retest.
She is stuck in powder room while civies are eating and she WANTS HER FOOD.....Mrrriiiiiiggggghhhhhttt Meeeooooow.

I've missed a few days, Misty. Her amps is lovely but she does seem to jump right back up. It does seem to be an excercise in futility when she jumps up from the falling number. The reason we are cautious is that there is always the possibility, especially if her pancreas decides to wake up and work for a while, that she could continue to drop after the amps, and a shot on a falling number could be a problem, if the insulin added to the drop. Anyone advising you will be extra cautious as we don't want to give you advice that could be dangerous. I think you want to be especially cautious on Mondays when your amps is more than +12 (right?) and she is still falling.

Maybe just wait 10 minutes and retest so she doesn't have to wait so long for food? She does seem to rise right away - wonder if part of that is the upset of not getting fed.

Sue....I am 100% positive that she rises right away because she WANTS TO EAT . :roll: :smile:

Today (Monday) I ran late because I had to go to Walmart for more strips and had to stop & see my garage guy.....vehicle diagnosis = Need Two New Front Axles ..... $$$$$ @-) $$$$$ Holy Crap....there goes the budget again !!! :evil: :evil:

Might not be able to free-feed sometime during the next couple weeks. ohmygod_smile Angry Kitties!! ohmygod_smile

As for dosing...I have been kind of 'guessing' after I stare at her ss for awhile. It has been a very confusing past few weeks with her numbers.
