Tested before work.

269 @ 1:10AM

AMPS = 244 @ 7:30AM

Ate 2 cans FF after AMPS.
Segregated from civvies until they are done eating.

0.75 unit @ 8:00AM
 
Do you still have Robin's scale, Misty? Maybe itwould be a good idea to post it with your signature and update it with the higher range .75 and the lower range .5? Then it would be easier for us to keep track of where you are.

Do you mean this?

<350 0.50 unit

If you mean this one, is it okay the way it is OR what numbers do I change?
 
That's the one I was thinking about. I did wonder why you gave .75 this am instead of .5 I figure you will get a test in today to monitor. Maybe it will be easy for you and us to remember if it is in your signature

Yesterday Robin posted that more food = more insulin. I will do a test now to see where she is at.

206 @ 11:30AM (+3.5)
 
To me, it looks like feeding more food worked with the higher insulin level you gave, despite it not being the scale you'd developed when feeding less.

so with a 240 AMPS, on 2 cans of food, +4 was 206, which isn't going too low.
I think you indicated she tended to nadir between +5 and +6?


ps how are you doing with supplies?

Yes, I usually test @ (+6). Seems to be her nadir. +6 today is 1/2 hour from now.

Supplies are fine.....just getting my food list ready for tomorrow. Deposit paycheck....hit the store for FF & Friskies !!! ;-)

Nice blue nadir below the renal threshold (the lowest estimate I've seen for that is 180 mg/dL)
 
Yep, I did suggest .75u last night and what a nice day she is having.

So new scale would be over 350 - 1 unit
under 350 - .75 unit.

If you could put this either in your signature or on your ss to refresh our memories.
