I'm here (overslept).
Let's see how it goes with the 0.75.
You've got everything in case he goes nerve-wrackingly low and you know what to do. There'll be eyes looking out for you.

BJM said:Looking good! Nadir is sometime around +5 to +6 and it looks like she may hit a green for you!

BJM said:As far as feeding her after a test
1) is she underweight? You can spread her food meals across several meals in the first half to 3/5 or the cycle; treats for testing may be small
2) how soon until the next shot? If its within 2 hours, don't feed, so that the pre-test shows a fasting glucose level
3) is she regulated - unregulated cats are more hungry because they can't use the calories. Its OK to feed them some extra - maybe 50% more than you think, across the day.
So while you don't want to "stuff her face" during the day, food in small quantities can be beneficial. This is one of those "every cat is different" things. And it comes down to you knowing your cat, and what you learn about her eating patterns. My cat would eat 10 cans a day if I let him, just because he's a little piggy. Every time I walk into the kitchen, he insists I forgot to feed him today.

She got down to 155 at her lowest test. It may be she hits her nadir closer to +5. You might test tomorrow at +5 to see if thats true.

What do you think?
