Sue and Oliver (GA) said:So good reminder for us - don't consider a shot until another test is given. Who knows what happened, but I like this number much better!
TESTED AGAIN .... 92 @ 10:00AM Number dropped by one half .... even after food. Hmmmm....maybe first strip was bad.
Rachel said:Maybe she likes tests so much that she wanted more? Didn't you say she loved to be tested? She just still wants 3-4 tests a day!!

Simon'sMommy said:This is exactly what happens with Simon which is why I do not give him any insulin anymore EVEN if he shows a higher AMBG than he should. He was over 180 one day recently and in 3.5 hours he was at 77 due to food. I checked it twice to make sure and both numbers were in the mid 70's (77 and then 74 20 mins later) so I know it was correct and it was the food.
When you see a high number like that, always feed and retest and I bet that just like Simon (the twins these two) it will be too low to shoot. Weird, eh? But it is what it is. confused_cat
