Party all day long. Low carb food and treats for all - especially Mom.

But three warnings. Keep taking tests a couple times daily at first, then once daily, then once weekly, etc. (the cats probably won't let you stop because they know about the treats :mrgreen: ) and as we ALL know nothing higher carb ever. And don't you go away. We need you around here!

It Feels AWESOME. Took 10 months .... I can take my dancing shoes off now. :mrgreen:

She knows what time her tests are...she comes looking for me. Hope she doesn't get upset with less pokey-pokes now. :lol:

OH YES....NO HIGH CARBS FOR RUMPELT EVER!!!! She looks at a CARB and number goes up. :lol:

No Worries...I am not going anywhere. I am so thankful for everything I learned here and for everyone's help and advice. I can't abandon my sugar-friends and their beans. :-D

ohmygod_smile I know !!!! She does eat a lot. Weighs about 11 pounds. Had been checked for hyperthyroidism a few times within the past year...all negative. :roll:

She eats her food in less than two minutes. Takes civies about 45 minutes to nibble their food. :lol: :roll:
 
So happy for Rumple is it weird that I kept Patches up to date on his progress like it should inspire her?? Ok so I know I am weird.... :lol: :lol: Way to go Rumple!!!!! Glad you are stay Misty I would miss you even though I have only known you for a short time.

Misty, I believe that due to RumpleT eating almost around the clock, that is what keeps the blood sugar stable now that pancreas is working. When Simon skips meals (which is rare thankfully) he goes up! This morning he was at 181!! Highest he has been in a long time. But, he went to the vet yesterday to have blood work in preparation for his teeth cleaning on Monday and did not eat dinner and seemed upset and licking where they shaved. Then he ate breakfast and less than 2 hours later, he was down to 126 and now he is at 77!

No x-ray was ever done. It is hard to remember if she ate so much before the FD .... they had food available 24/7 before so I don't really know who ate how much. :roll:

Simon is probably a little high because he was at the 'vet' yesterday. Hmmmm....does he know he is going back on Monday???? Might give you some goofy numbers over the weekend....Simon scared. :YMSIGH: ;-)

RumpelT's AMBG today is a little high....she wanted to go into the garage for some strange reason and I wouldn't let her....I think she got mad at momma-bean. :roll: :lol:

:lol: Not weird....we will try anything to get our sugar-babes down to good numbers. :lol:

It took RumpelT 10 months ... Patches will get there soon enough. I was very surprised when RumpelT started getting low numbers and didn't need insulin ... In the beginning I never thought she would do it. Where are the 'patience pants'? :lol:
