Royal Canin announces new FD diet for overweight cats

My first thought is, "Ugh - they're at it again".
It will be interesting to see what the ingredients are, and whether vets will be again promoting a diet that isn't good for diabetic cats.

The Royal Vet Clinics Diabetes Remission Clinic (on Facebook) have been running a food trial on diabetic overweight cats. Given the 3rd reference on the dvm360 article, I suspect Royal Canin was the food sponsor for this trial. And this food being announced is from that trial.
