Kind friends, again, thank you so much. I have been reading every word in this thread. I can't bring myself to empty her last water bowl. I know, it's silly. I decided I would use it today to water my favorite house plant.

Not silly at all! I think it's just continuing her to give nourishment to something alive. I hope that your heart will heal in time Lydia.

I'm So sorry Lydia...and I so understand the water thing, I still have KT's last numbers on the whiteboard. Remember, she's not gone, you just have to hug her differently.
