He could have dropped lower in the PM cycle. Just a few nights ago Rom went quite low on a 1.0IU dose quite well on in the cycle.

If it were me in this situation I'd be uncomfortable with the 1.50IU dose, even when the preshot is high (just look at the huge drops you're getting down from high PS BG values). Because the nadirs recently were borderline or dangerous I would give more weight to the nadir to guide my dosing decisions.

If it does prove that the 1.0.IU ain't quite enough then I reckon it's syringe time, Sue.

Yes, I'm looking into syringes. Just need to wait until payday. Not getting from the vet so looking online. Do you know of any @Critter Mom? I'll stick with 1 unit for now then and re-evaluate after Friday!! +4 he was 20.1 (362). Not liking this cycle!
 
@Critter Mom I have them syringes for Frankie!!! Didn't realise I could use the same ones. I can't check any more today as I'm at work and the petsitters give me the +4 readings. I can try tonight. If I'm reading it right, I would need to dose up to 3 units on these syringes for 1.2 units of Caninsulin?

PMPS Rom was 17.2 (310). I used the conversion chart and gave him 1.2 units (in a U100 syringe), so let's see if this levels him out. I'll give him a few days to adjust.
