Roger is still with me even tho it's been 10 days since he ate on his own. His BG's have been in the 300's. I've been force-feeding him A/D four times a day and he gets 100ml of IV fluids four times a day. Vet said his labs were good. I was prepared for renal failure. Vet gave him anti-biotic shot that lasts two weeks for his infected tooth and some pain meds. And mirtazipine to get his appetite back up and running. I considered euthanizing today if his labs were bad. Vet decreased his insulin to 1.5U and we're using Pro Zinc now since PZI was discontinued. He's 14 but I really need to give him a chance. Had to seclude him in spare bathroom so there's no chasing him thru house. And I can keep track of litterbox habits. Just praying for him to recover.
