Thank you lovely girls.
Rocky's behaviour looks normal, not a big change but less drinking.
Unfortunately last night he was in some sort of pain because he came in from a trip to the garden and was crying and there was a problem with his front legs - he lifts one leg up and makes some kind of circular move like waving good bye and then the other leg, he couldn't settle down for a few minutes, it was obvious that he was uncomfortable. I'm not sure what that is, he has been doing it for quite some time but only with one (right) leg which had some injury long time ago. The vet did not give me any idea but we know he has some osteoarthritis. I was just thinking it might be something to do with diabetic neuropathy although his hind legs don't show symptoms of that. The only thing which could point to neuropathy is that he often makes few steps and sits down, he has had high BG for some time so he must have some sort of neuropathy. So I started giving him B12 (the right form) and just have to remember to stick with it for a period of time and now I really have to decide which supplement I'm going to give for osteoarthritis.
Just to give some information regarding B12 as people wrote about it on this forum: the one I use is Doctor's Best Fully Active methylcobalamin 1.5 mg capsule, no sugars or Xylitol. I think I should give 3mg so 2 capsules daily, is that right?
Rocky's BG today is not going down much, +6 was 15.4 and I gave him a little bit of food as usual. I'll keep testing and see what number we'll get PM.
