I stayed up late last night to get a mid cycle number on Riley

+4 was 304.
+6 was 246.
+11 was 286 . I fed him and went back to sleep for an hour.
+12 AMPS 316
+8 was 323
+12 PMPS was 292 (rechecked and it was 260)
 
Nice smile cycle last night. Looks like the food really brought him up fast. Your pmps tonight is interesting. Based on the 20% variance, it could be the same number +8 and if so, is a low surf. Can you wait a few minutes and retest? I'd want to be sure it was going up, not down....
 
Thanks Sue, I want to make sure I understand. You're thinking that taking the 20% variance into account his + 8 and both PMPS #'s tonight could actually be around the same - meaning he stayed flat for that time period? If that is the case - is that a good or bad thing?

I just checked him now at +3.5 and got 216.

Yes, that would be a good thing. It would mean the insulin is lasting longer and he is staying in nice numbers for a longer time. Any time they don't start moving up fast from +8/9, it is encouraging.
