Right on time, Moon Kitty

According to this lovely little app http://www.calculatorcat.com/moon_phases/phasenow.php the moon is currently at full and has been since sometime earlier this afternoon. I know it's a little different depending on where you are on Earth, but I assume this is good for the whole US.

True to form, Gandalf was the highest this afternoon that he's been in a while. I did not raise his dose tonight because I usually see a decline in BGs once the moon changes from full. I've witnessed this enough times to feel confident that the moon has some affect on his BGs. Whether it affects all cats or even most, I'm not sure. Others have noticed this, but not everyone does.

Well, Vicky, I think I'm a believer, too.

Gandalf, as with most kitties, is of the cult of the Egyptian sun god, Ra, usually pictured as a cat.

Yoyo, being the contrarian he is, must have been chosen by Osiris, the god of the moon, as his servant, and I'll be leaving out an offering for his continued good will.
