Hi All

A number of you recently have compared different meters test results on the same blood drop.

If you would pm me the link to your specific spreadsheet, I can put the data into a master spreadsheet and run some stats on the average differences, etc, by pair of meters.

This will be an update to any previous comparisons.

I've got 65 pairs of tests from Deb and Wink and 8 from Mist1777.

So far,
In numbers at or below 207 - The Alphatrak reads an average of 37% higher than the Confirm with 65 pairs of tests
In numbers at or above 274 - The Alphatrak reads an average of 20% higher than the Confirm with 8 pairs of tests (not a lot of observations in these ranges)

Please send me your data!

Can you share the details of the data. So each pair is exactly 37% and 20%. I find it hard to believe that there would be a large step change and each pair would show the same % difference.
Also, are the lots of strips different? Different lots should have an effect.

Edited preceeding to add "an average of ", ie these are averages over some data ranges that were an available sample. If you're looking for a rigorously controlled trial, this ain't it. Its observational data, with all the variables attendant to that.

The 2 different folks data samples were in very different ranges, so I averaged them separately.

Deb and Wink's data had 65 pairs of data in very low ranges, with no mention of lots on the meter strips.

Misty's data were in a much higher range of numbers.
