Hello everyone,
Zeus has been in remission since the Fall.
He was and still is eating the Sheba in jelly pouches (we’re in EU).
He has always had an appetite, he can eat all day if you let him.
Currently he stills eats every 2-3 hours .. small amounts.
He is always meowing for food, always sitting by his food bowl waiting for food, he usually chills out in the late afternoon but otherwise spends his days begging and waiting. This isn’t anything new ..but he has been getting a bit aggressive if he’s “hangry” which just means he’ll growl at any passerby’s who walk by him and his bowl.
Yesterday I found him digging at the dogs empty kibble bag that was set aside for recycling and he was so angry and furious he couldn’t open it, roaring like a lion.
So clearly he’s hungry .. part of it is just his personality though as he’s always been an eater but maybe it’s also something else?
He had thyroid panels done last month and those are fine.
Does anyone have any thoughts?
Maybe I should switch his food to something with a bit more carbs? I’m just worried because he had pancreatitis a few times when he was on insulin and the Sheba in jelly seems to be the best for him but perhaps it’s too low carb?
