((((((Ella & Edward)))))

I don't know if I read your tribute last year. It made me smile at your fond memories of Stu. He was quite the character. I hope he and my civvie George (GA) have become best buddies at the Bridge. George would appreciate Stu's skills in the kitchen!!

Morning Ella, and Edward.

This morning I was thinking of Stu, long before I read this post... it must have been the pending full moon, and my attempts to get Mannie ready for his party menu. It is the last one where he did with his mentor, 2 years ago. How poignant to then log in here and see you post. I remember the condo when you lost him, remember the tribute last year. Stu was indeed quite the cat, and ever so fondly remembered here. Mannie has every intention of remembering Stu this full moon.

Hugs to all! And a toast to Stu!

:YMHUG: :YMHUG: Ella, what a beautiful boy. He lives on and is remembered often at our Full Moon parties with Mannie's menu and remembering Chef Stu's recipes.

We joined the board after Stu's passing, and appreciate reading his tribute. Now we understand more about Camp Stu. What a character! Our GA kitties leave special places in our hearts that will feel full again one day. Sending you all heaps of hugs today. :YMHUG:

I can't believe it has been 2 years already. It just feels like yesterday that we were all enjoying the parties
and I just loved reading yours and Pat's posts. I could always imagine a whole big circle of kitties swaying
to the music and enjoying Stu's cooking delights.
I am sure he has having a grand time looking over us and now he has his old pal Max to play with and
relive all the wonderful times.
Many hugs.
Miss you all.

((((((((((Ella)))))))))) ((((((((((Edward)))))))))) Thank you for linking us to Stu once again! It brought me to tears just looking at his photo!

Ella and Edward,
Thinking of you today as you remember Stu....

Can't believe it's been 2 years :(

sending you all cyber hugs :YMHUG: :YMHUG: :YMHUG: He sure was handsome!

(((Ella))) (((Edward)))

I am so sorry that I never got the chance to meet Stu, but I feel that I know him through your posts. He was such a special part of the Lantus Land family. I have Bear Man's two year anniversary coming up in a couple of weeks (and Teddy's one year anniversary as well). I know that Stu and Bear Man are good buddies at the Bridge, along with a lot of other beloved old friends. I love that picture of him in the garden. What a handsome cat he was.

Yes, Stu is very well remembered here. Loved him as Chef Stu and his adventures at the full moon parties.
But one of favorite stories of him is as the Little Drummer Cat... pounding on the doors. :-D

(((((Ella and Edward))))))

And I'm glad Stu's FD brought you to FDMB/DCIN where you learned that Rusty needed a loving home. It is such a beautiful legacy to Stu that you shared your heart with Rusty. ♥

((Ella)) I read your lovely tribute to that handsome guy. I am glad you found each other. I'm partial to black and whites and one with a white tail tip is extra special. My Buster (GA 17 months ago) was smoke and white with a white tail tip. Unusual to see but wonderful personalities. I'm sure Stu helped show my Buster the way around the bridge. It's almost full moon time again, maybe we can see them through the mist again soon.

On this day we Remember our dear friend Stu..The door banging, handsome, fun friend of Moonie n& all the kitties here in LL, who was quite the chef and prankster..He & Moonie look so much alike, it's uncanny, and she was so very very fond of him...We were all endeared by Stu and loved him very much...He was the life of every party--His passing affected us deeply & he will be remembered by us always--Many Hugs & much Love from us!!

I know it is hard to lose our babies, but we always have the memories and the love we shared with them. I wouldn't trade that for anything. I'm sure you feel the same way about Stu.

Stu sounds like he was quite the character. It hurts to much to lose wonderful kitties - what a wonderful tribute to a special cat.

(((Ella - Edward))) A tribute to the leader of the parties and chef for all occasions. He was a beautiful boy and luck to have shared his life with you.

"For although we may not be together in the way we used to be,
We are still connected by a cord no eye can see.
So whenever you need to find me, we're never far apart
If you look beyond the Rainbow and listen with your heart."

my favorite photo of Stu...

& Butthead's and Donovan's spirits, happy and healthy with Stu at the Bridge

Hi Everyone,

Thank you all so much for visiting and for your loving remembrances. MJ, that picture of Stu in the Forget-Me-Nots is also my favorite picture of him. How he loved his garden!

Although Camp Stu is closed up for the winter for the beans, the kitties will continue to go there for their parties. The next full moon is on Sunday (Harvest Moon) and Chef Stu will be cookin' for the GAs at the Bridge while Chef Mannie will be cookin' for the LL kitties at Camp. And Halloween is coming, when the veil is thinnest. That's the best party of the year: our kitties and our GA kitties can communicate through the thin veil. Magical!

Hugs to you all from Edward and Rusty and me,

Ella

I LOVE that photo of Stu and I'm so glad MJ posted it.

(((Ella and Edward))).....we were brand spanking new when Stu crossed but we'd been here long enough that Gracie had gained some weight eating the world famous Chef Stu's incredible foods. ;-) :-D I remember all you were doing for him to sort out his hyperT and get him the I131 treatment to only find out it was more than that. Stu was such a lucky, and very handsome, kitty. I know how you love him. Thank you for sharing Stu with us.

And thank you both for being so amazing that you took another diabetic cat, Rusty, into your home and made his life wonderful and full of love.

Love you!

These little angels are always around us, Ella!
Yes, as stupid human beings we believe in physical bodies which we can touch, see & hold but look into your heart, he's right there!

Oh, Ella -

What a BEAUTIFUL boy!!! Extra BIG HUGS to you and Edward today as you remember your boy.

Libby (& Hershey, too!)

(((Ella and Edward))) I've been catching up on condos and saw this lovely thread in memory of your VERY handsome boy Stu:)Thank you for sharing the story of how your and Stu came to be a family. I now understand the true meaning behind Camp Stu and the significance of the full moon parties and am thrilled that the tradition is still enjoyed by all of the LL kitties (Ella still hasn't arrived home and it's six in da morning) He sounds like he was quite the character who brought endless joy to your life. When Ella arrives home we will raise a mint and catnip smoothie in memory of your special boy.
