any1 who uses this lancing devicing....looks like the depth does not adjust? someone kindly sent me this one as a backup, and i thought it was a godsend earlier. i was using it with no guard but then its hard to judge depth, and i was either stabbing him too much i think, big blood drops, or not at all (usually). this is the perfect size and would work best for me if i could figure out how to use the guard. with the guard on, it doesnt even break skin. thanks for input.
suggestions?

Why not ditch the device and try free hand. It gives you more control of angle and depth. But its important to put something firm behind the ear to press against if you do

i have done that, or tried, a lot. too. its like the bed at goldilocks....1 lancing device was too big, freehand is too small for me to handle, and the mini is justttttt right!
do u have this particular device? i love it! just gotta master it now.

i should add...i have carpal tunnel, arthritis and fibromyalgia. all the pain, and sometimes numbness, and tingling in my hands gives me little control. this is super tedious for me. i need the size of the device, versus freehand, to get a good grip and be more steady.

Pam,
If it's the blue one with gray end, it does adjust - turn on bright light - behind where the cap pushes on is several lines around one side, a single line on the other. It turns right there.

I use the regular cap on mine but I have a lancet device that you might be able to use easier, takes same lancets. PM me your address and I'll mail it to you.

BIG HUGS!

I'm telling you, find an Accu-Chek FastClix device and you'll cry with joy! ;-) I have the most uncoordinated and shaky grip ever and this saved me from all the hassle of trying it free-hand (which I also tried...miserably for both of us). Dude, I can't even type very well on touch-screens for this very same reason (unsteady hands).
