Really Quick Drop Last Night

Bubba dropped very quickly after his PM shot. He went from 301 to 175 in 2.5 hours. That scared me and I did readings through the night. All his blues are in the first six hours and then he went to 343 at +9 and was 411 this AM. I imagine this is still the bouncing. On one thread I read that someone said bouncing could go on for 3 days. If I go lower, he won't get into the blues. My concern is the radical swings from blue to red. Although he seems fine, eating, drinking, preening, & hunting outside. So, I guess I need to just stick with this dose?

The bouncing won't last forever. Honestly, kitties just bounce until they stop! I think I'd stick with it for now since you know it's getting you some lovely blues. Wait until after that three day mark to see if he clears the bounce and we can see from there.

Thanks Rachel for the hand holding. It's just scary to see red when he's only had red two times before this bounce. And to see him drop that quickly after the PM shot. I have seen in other threads to test at +2 and +4 in the PM. Now I know why. I just studied his SS a bit more and he did go his lowest ever last night 101 and his number this AMPS was lower than yesterday's number. I am hoping that's a good sign......... I need to borrow CatX4's patience pants. (I think it was her )

Haha, hand holding happily done! Trust me when I say that I had to have my hand held a LOT when I first arrived! That's why I hang around.

It's scary to see a drop like that, I know. It's good that you test so much...it means that you catch those drops and you also know how doses affect him.

You're doing great! Those patience pants come in many colors, so we have some for all occasions. Trust me...I had to borrow them myself before!!!!
