REALLY late nadir?

Lately Diablo has been starting high at pre-shot and gradually going down all day long, all the way up until the end of his cycle. Is this caused by too high/low of a dose? Is he just bouncing and happens to come down at the end of the cycle? I've tried adjusting the dose up and down, and I can't figure out what's going on.
 
Hmmm. 1.4 has given you some good numbers. I do not understand the long cycle, out of the blue. Yes, it can be because of too much insulin, but the dose has been working well. I am thinking amps today is a bounce. (your dose at 134 was pretty gutsy). Tonight you should be able to give a shot at +12, don't you think?

I like your scale and do think you are making progress, but understand your frustration. I guess I'd keep on doing what you have been and see if a pattern emerges, and if we can see numbers that suggest a higher or lower dose.
 
Long cycles usually indicate the dose is too high and causes you to skip a dose which leaves him without insulin for 24 hours so he is high again at the next PS. You don't want to get on that rollercoaster.

Maybe back off the dose a bit and see what happens.
 
Roller coaster is the perfect analogy. Feels like we've been on one for a long time now. We'll back off and see what he does! Thanks!
 
Diablo had his PM shot last night before I got any feedback on this, and I gave him 1.4u. This morning he's at 184. So does that mean the 1.4 kept him low enough? I'm not sure if I should back off now with a pre-shot number like that.
