WCR: She is acting ok, but hardly ate any of her food last night. 5 P's are good. Her fur looks a little dry.

At what point do we call a trial unsuccessful? :sad:

+1 is 92. I can't be sure if this is 1 or 4 hours after eating, DH forgot to pick up her feeder and couldn't tell if she had eaten any of her lunch.

I'll get a +3 with no food for sure to see where she is.

do you think she's not eating well and the fur is rough because she's not feeling well for some reason? Is there anything else that seems off?

If you can mark the approximate times of her meals the last couple of days on her SS, that will help see the patterns.

The trial isn't a failure, she is bringing herself down. We do want to keep an eye on her numbers, though. If you notice that she isn't feeling well, then we'll have to take that into consideration too.
 
I will update her meal times on the SS, they haven't changed, but I guess the grazing is going to have to stop for a while...or I'm going to have to keep better track of it.

Her +3 was 74. Nothing else seems off...she isn't acting sick...LB is good...her appetite has been great other than last night...but...we had a tiny tremor today in NY state. There was an earthquake in Canada around 1:45 (+1.75) and our house SHOOK. I remember hearing that animals can sense things sometimes before they happen...I wonder if something seismic was making her uneasy, causing a higher BG...like stress. And her numbers have gone back down now. Maybe a long shot, but I think it might be possible! I wasn't feel well this morning either, I just thought it was heat exhaustion, but now I'm not sure.

I plan to test again in a few minutes, +6, just to see what she's doing. I'm testing more during the trial than I have been for the past month!
 
that's better, hopefully it was just something weird last night, but pay attention to her cues. Maybe it's even something as minimal as a hairball that is messing with her numbers.
