Oooh he's getting grumpy with me today. Tried to get up and walk away just as I poked the needle into his skin. I had to fuss a bit, which is unusual. I think he's tired of it all, but I told him he's not done yet. He's got a bit of time before he's ready to even try but if he keeps giving us these pretty numbers he'll be there soon. Not sure he believed me, but I'm not sure if the meow he let out was "Sure mom, whatever you say" or "Whateverrrrrrrrrrrrr" ;-)
I got up right at +10 and took the food away as I got the testing basket. Tugger was not a happy boy then either. He slapped my hand when I reached for the food bowl in front of him! I think most nights he sleeps till I get up and then he races for the foods and tries to gobble it before I take it away but this is the first time he's whapped at me for taking it!! He's been pouting, but he's not stalking me. Everyone followed me around for about 15 minutes, then I think they realized I was not giving up the food so they all went to nap (except Echo who has been getting into stuff and BB whose story follows) I am hopeful they have finally figured out the two-hours-of-no-food thing.
So BB's adventure this morning. Miss Thing was on the dining room table, yelling at her Boy (part of her morning routine, she yells at him before he leaves for school and she sticks her head in his mouth to check his teefs) so he went to her and gave her some skritches and let her check his teefs then he went on about his business. Next thing I know, all heck has broken out behind me. BB'd stuck her head into a candle holder stand thingy on the table and got caught. Then she freaked of course. Off the table she goes,(the standthingy is metal) banging her large awkward necklace on the table, the china cabinet, the chair, finally getting to the floor and trying to hide under another chair behind some paint cans. I'm trying to get to her so I can un-stuck her but she darts out and bangs into a wall and a paint can before dislodging her necklace and then racing behind the couch. Where she is still hiding. It was about a minute and a half of commotion, I'm surprised hubby didn't wake up. There was a lot of noise. Tugger sat on the couch watching the whole thing just as calm as could be. Everyone else flipped out, but Tugger just chilled on the couch and watched. I think I heard a giggle or two from that direction
