I slightly increased Frank's dosage this AM. I tried to make it a f2U and not just 2.5U. Although I think he needs an increase, I don't want to increase too much. I fear he will present with green Tuesday AM when I need to go to work. Then I may chicken out and lower dosage.

In the past, I have seen close-up pictures of syringes showing fat dosage etc. It would be helpful for me to look at these. If anyone knows where these photos are please let me know.

Frank sure seems to have been all over the place on the 2u dose. Those lower numbers just a couple of days ago confuse me! I hope he settles down for you.

I don't know if you saw Libby's post yesterday:

I think you have room for a dose increase, but with that I would like to see more testing when you are home, and that will include some evenings. Frank had some pretty low numbers last time he was on 2.25, so it is possible that it will only take a few cycles at that dose to give him another breakthrough and start getting good green again.

I posted much the same suggestion about getting in more tests, especially in the evenings. It will make it easier to know what's going on during the work week if you have more comprehensive data.

The photos of syringes are in the New to Lantus/Lev sticky. I do think, though, you should have considered increasing the full 0.25u. Maybe once you see the photos, you'll have a better idea of what the dose was.

after looking at the close up syringe photos....I think I gave Frank a 2.2U (or maybe it was 2.25U). Oh, I'll just have to settle on 2.25U anyway. On a day when I have my contacts in I won't be able to see the difference between the two.
