AMPS 219 - Let's DIVE!
SLIGHT dose increase this morning to a fat 2.25u to see if we can push these blues a little more often. At this point, I'll be satisfied if he'd just stay in the 100's.
We're still a deep freeze here - 28 degrees....BRRRR!
I'm a little concerned about Lacey's (CHF) fluid in her lungs. She couldn't seem to get a good breath for about an hour. I sat holding her upright which seems to help. Thru all this, DH was having attacks and I was worrying about Julie and Eleanor! I hope we don't have to relive THAT night again. I think we're about to increase her daily Lasix when I talk to vet tomorrow. We ran out of enalapril yesterday so must get some for both Lacey and Scruffs.
Karrie - I'm going to check on the other one you have instead of the enalapril for Lacey if that's OK???
Let's find spring again today! Oklahoma has quite a few Bald Eagles being raised in protected areas. The Sutton Center has nest cams where this pair of parents come back to each year. You can watch them grow, feed, sleep - all the whole thing. It's totally fascinating. This picture below is 'Sapphire', 'Diamond' and 'Gem (baby)'. There were 2 eggs but the other one never hatched. Altho' this camera date says 2005, it was actually spring, 2009. Isn't this just the sweetest picture?
HUGS to all today!
