Good morning!

Yesterday was a pretty good cycle.

I didn't freak out even when it got to 43 (I wanted to, but I didn't :). He was eating and acting completely normal!

Let's see what today brings. Dr. Pierson said it could be a high and flat day (as that is common after going low). Time will tell!

By the way, are these the best pics of fats and skinnys? (about halfway down)

Re: 10/23 Sue AMPS = 313, gave a fat 1.0

Good job handling the 40s. If you feel like you need a hand with low numbers, we're happy to lend a hand or support!

Good luck with the new dose and yes, what you are seeing is a bounce from the green numbers. Hopefully, it will clear quickly but it can take up to 72 hours for a bounce to clear.

Re: 10/23 Sue AMPS = 313, +3 = 302, more inside

Thanks, everyone.

@Sienne- What is a bounce and exactly why do they happen?

We did get a good result, but I'm going to have to screw it up on Friday. I'm going out of town to see my husband who is in graduate school in Philadelphia (I'm in Cincinnati). I bought the plane tickets pre-diagnosis and we only see each other every 4-5 weeks (program is over in May!!!!!). So my neighbor is going to take care of Sue for me. She is a diabetic as well, and is on Lantus, so she at least "gets" the importance of the shots at the same time and she understands BG numbers and how to test. Even so, we are going to dial back the dose a bit just to make sure no numbers go too low (she won't be constantly monitoring him) so I feel like it's one step forward and one back... I must admit that I have my hopes set really high for remission (fingers crossed).
