Raymond james on Levemir/cabergoline

AMPS, 378. No change, as yinz can see!!! Up to 35 units X2. Got night time readings, same. Starting the second RX of cabergoline. It's been one year since being diagnosed with diabeties. We're in for the long haul. My vet said carbergoline may never work for RJ.
Thanks for all the advise and support. Easier to know we all experience dissapointment with our kids!!!
Surprising his keytones are low.. Not much else I can do for him. Peeing a lot. Eats like a piglet.. Thank goodness.....

You’ve only been on Cabergoline for a month now so don’t give up on it yet. It does take some time in many kitties.

Sorry you are up to so many units. I understand how that feels.

RJ is definitely a big gulper! I realize it's not imaginable but we did have a kitty who was up to +60u. I'm pretty sure he eventually went OTJ (or at least the tumor revved way down). You're doing a great job. All RJ knows is whether he feels good and that you are a wonderful caregiver.
