Typically I try to steer clear of cow/people milk. A lot of kitties are in fact lactose intolerant. I know at least two that I foster is and one even gets sick from cheese flavor let alone milk. If I want to give them "milk" I typical will give them Catsure (kitty milk but not really) but be forewarned these are high calorie and typically used as a suppliment for those kitties that cant and or wont eat. There is also Clinicare. I haven't personally tasted it but most my kitties seem to like it just fine. Catsure is marketed as a food suppliment for kitties 7+ years and suppose to taste like vanilla. I usually break these out for when I have a kitty that wont eat. It is a complete liquid and can be used for when a kitty has a feeding tube. I don't know if I would recommend it for syringe feeding because it can be pretty easy for the kitty to inhale rather than swallow it and then they can get pneumonia. Just my experience. I know there is also KMR which is "kitten milk" and can come in a powder that you mix.
