Sorry, my spreadsheet was last updated on 6/21 and am at work and cant update it right now, but I have a question about my cats numbers.
Here is a quick update:
6/22 7:00AM - 85
6/23 7:00AM - 77
6/24 6:00AM - 186
6/24 6:30AM - 153
6/24 11:30AM - 76

Last night at around 4AM Pax started meowing a lot, like he was searching for me. I went downstairs and brought him to my room and put him on my bed. 30 minutes later he did the same thing (back downstairs). He had food and water and his cat box was cleaned about 12 hours prior.

When I checked his numbers before I went to work he was at 186. A large jump from the below 90s he has been the last week. I checked 30 minutes later and he was at 153. I had to go to work, but my boyfriend came by and checked him and he was at 76.

He didn't eat much last night, but my boyfriend said he was eating this morning between me leaving and him getting there.

His last shot was 6/11 with .25 Lantus. Is this normal? What could have caused his number to jump for such a short time? No food was left out.

Any chance of filling in at least the last couple days of the spreadsheet? We are very data focussed here and used to using the spreadsheet as our tool. I have no idea when those blood sugar tests are in relation to shot times and frankly, got lost trying to follow the numbers you listed.

Did you test him at 4AM? Any chance he was low and looking for higher carb food?

I have to wonder if he was going too low and was coming to get you to give him food.

With that fast drop today, I hope you're testing again

I updated my times in my post. I am not home and do not have my link to edit the spreadsheet at work. The last shot he received was on 6/11 (almost 2 weeks ago). The spreadsheet is up to date except for the 3 dates (5 times) listed.

He may have just gotten into something overnight that caused the jump in numbers this morning. Don't worry too much about it....it's only one number and he's coming down nicely now.

Something as little as hearing a dog bark, seeing a strange cat outside the window, a little tummyache, or just because he's a cat can cause the BG to rise

As long as it comes back down, I think you're good!!

Thank you for the feedback. That makes me feel a lot better. I did hear a lot of coyotes yipping outside last night, so maybe he was just afraid.
