I ran a mini-curve for my vet Saturday. Typical test results of 300-500. I took an extra test on Sunday and came up with 186!! I didn't think to get a backup test with another meter, but I have no reason to think that it was a "bad" result. Except he NEVER tests below 300 yet!! Chester seemed fine, acted fine, snoozed and played fine.
Does anyone else ever have rare flukey low test readings? Should I look at this as a bad data point or as a low number that deserves to be taken seriously? My concern is that if he runs around 400 normally but can drop to 186, then what will he drop to if we get his "normal" down to 180?
