? Ran out of levemir tonight

I took Howie with me to a friend's house for dinner/evening and neglected to see I didnt have enough insulin with me for his PM shot. He got 17 out of 26 units (acro kitty). Im so mad at myself. Do i give him more when i go home (probably around +2.5)? His PMPS was 145.

Just pretend he got a partial fur shot. You wouldn’t give another shot if that happened. You would have two nadirs if you shoot again later. He will recover from the lower dose.

Like Elise said, stick with the partial shot. One bonus of the larger dose is the larger depot, so shouldn't impact him too much.
