Hi there friends!
I have a couple of things I need to discuss. First, I am going on vacation starting Friday... not that it is a big deal to anyone - (except me!)
The next thing I want to discuss is....
IS THERE ANYONE OUT THERE THAT CAN OR WANTS TO HELP WITH THESE REALLY FUN VIDEOS?
I got involved with the videos by being a helper to D and Noisy (Diahann) who had done the videos for more than 3 years. I would find props and silly things (Photoshop them into layers) and send them to her to use on the kitty photos. And many of the things I first sent were pretty stupid. I can't believe she didn't start 'blocking' my emails. :lol: Then I moved up to decorating a photo or two for her videos. Eventually she asked if I was ready to do a complete video (with her guidance.) I said YES!
That first video for Scrabble & Michelle took me the full 14 days of his OTJ trial to complete, hahaha! I was so slow and would re-do each page a million times. I still have a bunch of 'out-takes' that I didn't use because I kept improving what I was trying to do. Eventually Diahann and I would alternate the videos, so we could each have a break in between. When her job took her out of the country for a while, I took over doing all of the videos for her. She would pop back in to help out occasionally but I think she is enjoying OTJ video retirement for now. (If she ever wants to come out of retirement I will be thrilled of course!)
So I am asking if anyone out there is interested and perhaps has some Photoshop or movie making skills. You don't have to know both... either one would be a help. Don't be shy, I know I've seen some Photoshop work in a few condos, for example wasn't there a kitty on a raft?... ahem, .... cough, Ashley/Sushi...cough, cough.
And if you are agood writer, perhaps helping me think of silly comments about the kitties or putting words in their mouths would be more up your alley. That would be awesome!
Keep me in mind, I'd love to have a partner (or 2) in crime. :twisted:

- But I will NOT be taking a computer to work on videos while on vacation, which I have done the past couple of years.
- So parties will need to be on a delay for anyone who starts a trial this week, which makes the party 'due' while I'm gone or the 3 immediate days of my return.
- If I have already put you on the list, (Daphne/Barb and Scooter/Ry), I will get yours done before I leave, save them as a draft, and post them from the beach using an iPad. :mrgreen:
- Everyone else needs to be patient, I'll be back soon.

- Do you know Photoshop or similar programs?
- How about knowing how to use video software? Such as iMovie (Mac) or Windows MovieMaker.
- Anyone want to learn?
- I will definitely help guide you and you wouldn't have to do everything of course.
- Any little thing would help. Even if it is just studying the photos and helping me think of funny things to subject the kitty to.
