She seems to be acting fine but of course I'm worried about her.

I did see her go eat some of her canned food a couple of minutes ago. Wondering now if I should just continue to monitor her bg or if I need to try to raise it with food

I'd keep checking her tho...
and if you get concerned...put the word "question" in your subject line so it gets attention...
 
Yes i will keep checking. I know when she goes into remission she stays in the 30s but getting her that low with insulin scares me, thankfully she went back up and I'm betting it will be a little higher in a few when I check her.
 
yeah...binks ran in the 50's when he was off the juice...
but it's a whole different story when they're getting insulin, isnt it?

i think i'll be up with him awhile tonight as well.

makes you realize what a luxury it is when they're in remission, doesn't it?

It is nice when you dont have to sit here and wonder if that low number is going to cause problems.

Her bg dropped down to 59. Hmm not sure what to think about that.
 
If she goes down much more, you can try bringing her up with a bit of MC or HC foods. Keep in mind, though, that she may bounce a bit from the higher carbs, and may give you a bit higher of #s for about a day.
