I've had Rain on 0.5 unit BID for about a week now, and I'm wondering if she's bouncing. The last couple of days, she's typically had 1 cycle where she drops down into the blues at nadir (once into the high greens), then the next cycle or two her numbers stay high the entire cycle. This seems to be her pattern on 4/28, 4/29 and 5/1 (not sure if 4/30 was a continuation of a bounce from the previous day - does that happen, a bounce effect that long?); I screwed up her shots on 4/27 (pretty sure I gave them intradermal, poor girl :() so I'm not really counting the numbers from that day when I'm trying to see what's going on and where to go from here.

Am I right in thinking that she's bouncing? Where should I go with her dose? Right now I'm eyeballing 0.5 unit on a U40 syringe, but I've ordered both U40 and U100 syringes with half-unit markings which will hopefully be here today or tomorrow.

Hi Sarah, it looks like Rain is bouncing from the nice blues you had in yesterday's AM cycle. Bouncing can last up to three days or 6 cycles with some cats. Glad you order some U100 syringes that will make dosing the .25 units easier. Do you have the conversation chart you will need when you start using the U100 syringes?

As far a dosing, let's see what the others think if you should increase or not.

I think she does seem to bounce fo a few cycles. Her nadirs are good but have some room to drop. Maybe wait until you have the U100s and try for 0.6?

You have a copy of our conversion chart?

Hi Bobbie and Sue,

Thanks for the input! I do have the conversion chart - so for 0.6 unit, I'll draw up 1.5 unit on the U100 right? It looks like the syringes should be here today, so I can try 0.6 starting tonight.

Hi Sarah, yes that is correct. When I was using the conversion chart, I always doubled checked my conversion before shooting. ;)
