Quick food question

I switched Vinnie to FF Classic pates the day he was diagnosed which I believe is helping a lot. I gave him a taste of Purina DM last night and this morning which he is loving also. Is it any better or worse than FF? (Insurance covers prescription food so it actually ends up being better for me cost-wise, but his health is #1 so I will keep him on FF if it's better for him).

DM is higher in carbs than the pate FFs. Otherwise, DM is as nutritious as FF. The big problem with DM which is not a concern with you since DM wouod be covered by insurance is that it costs a lot. One item is that after a while a cat my not like/eat DM. With FF you can try changing to a different flavor.

As long as the DM won't set him back any, I'll probably do half and half - I know he gets bored with the same flavor every day. Thank you!
