Hi,

Sorry have another question. My china gets 1.5 units of lantus 2x day which is a u-100 insulin, and I am using relion u=100 syringes 3/10cc/ml gauge 30 short needle. Where I want to make sure that I am drawing up the right dose. Each of the smaller lines on the left of the barrel is 1 unit is that correct? and the markings on the right are 1/2 units? I am confused on how to read this syringe and am afraid I am not giving her the correct amount of insulin. So if anyone can help please make this clear for me.

Thanks

Hi Vickie & China, To answer your question you can go on Relion's web site. I use the exact same syringe (3/10) and the first line on the left is .5 and the next line on right would be 1. and so on. But if you still are not sure double check their web site. Hope this helps you.

Larry,

It looks like the Syringe on the left, that is the one I am using. My thought is that the mark on left side of barrel is 1/2 unit while the mark on the right side is 1 u and so on. Just like the other person stated.
