QUESTION ON DR LISA PIERSON'S FOOD CHART

Hello everyone, It has been quite awhile since I last posted regarding Tommy. I know you all wanted me to start a chart and I am going to do just that. I have been learning much about diabetes all this time. I now do home testing successfully and we are pretty much regulated. The vet has been a tremendous help. Tommy did go into ketoacidosis and spent a week in the hospital during the summer. She pulled him through where 4 other vets said to pts. Needless to say, she is my new vet. We will be seeing her once again in January.

I am here not only to participate, but also to ask a question. When I first signed up here, I saw a post by Dr. Lisa Pierson stating that her food chart was updated, and that she added in several pages (now 1/67), but she was having some problems in changing the year from 2017 to 2018. Is this true? I am the founder, owner and admin of the FB group FELINE CHRONIC KIDNEY DISEASES and a few there are trying to tell me it is not updated. I swear I saw a post from Dr Pierson herself stating it was. Please clarify. Thank you!

thank you for replying! So this IS an old food chart from 2017? Still confusing. She edited the donation part? If this is correct, any idea when she will update?

Yes! Home testing became very easy. Poor boy ducks when I go to pinch with the lancet, but he's such a good boy. Could you please tell me how I set up a signature? Thank you!
