Hi all, I really don't know how to phrase this, but I am wondering about the range of the +X times..... like, if a test is taken 20 minutes into the 3rd hour, does it still count as +3? I've seen a number of people note +X.5 also, but since there isn't a place on the ss for that, I would rather avoid it, but I have skipped many intended tests because of not being able to get to it until 15-20 mins in, and I feel as though I missed the 'window' .... is there a formula or something? I hope this made at least a small amount of sense.

You didn't miss a window if you are a little late with the test. Take a look at my ss and you'll see lots of tests that are not right at the + hour.

Wow, your ss has SO much data :o I don't think I could keep up with needing to write down that much info.. and if I add any other note in the cell with the bg number it loses its coloring on my ss, and I would rather not do that, so ... how does it work? Just note it as +X with x being the hour the test occurred within? Or, say if it was 30-55 mins into that hour would it be noted as the next hour up?

A workaround is to use a 2nd line for the day and make notes underneath, such as exact time.

The spread sheet will let you join cells together, too. You highlight 2 or more cells in a row, then click on the icon just right of center in the tool strip to merge them.

I'm much more laissez-faire about it. I write down the actual time in his BG book and then I round to the nearest hour for the spreadsheet (I start rounding up from the 1/2 hour mark). I also skip recording some BGs in the spreadsheet when taken back-to-back-to-back (I.e. in a low numbers run when I'm testing every 1/2 hour).
