I was looking for U100 syringes for micro dosing, found some, but wondering if the needle is too small. They are 3/10cc capacity 6mm length 31G length I am used to a 30 gauge needle..worried about fur shots with these tiny, short needles. Do they have the half unit syringes with larger needles? Do any of you use these? Thanks in advance!

Yes there are 8mm needles in the same size with the same half unit marks - I get mine at Walmart. I do use the 30ga ones. I have some of those 6mm's, yes they ARE short! I don't care for them, they're my 'emergency' syringes when I suddenly run out of the other ones and forgot to put them on my shopping list. Target also has them.

That is what I use and have used them for about 18 months now. I like them and seem to don't have a problem with them. I may have gotten a few fur shots and at first, I recall a couple of bent needle too.

Thanks Cindi and Squeaky! I will try one to see how I do. I think I will get the larger needle next time though. Thanks for the info, have a great day!
