Question about PMPS number

Sophia had a little bit of her breakfast this morning before her shot. Her AMPS was 404 and I gave her a heavy 0.5 (I don't have my half unit syringes yet). I left her food (about 5.5 oz FF Classic Chicken Feast) in her bowl. She usually eats is all within 3 hours. When I got home from work tonight, I got a 239 for her PMPS and thought, that's good :woot: and then went to feed her dinner and found her bowl full still! I'm thinking she didn't want to go downstairs today because the little ones are home from school and she was hiding from them. She's eating her dinner just fine now (in my room). My question, after that rambling story is, if she hardly ate anything all day, I expected her number to be something crazy but 239 sounded pretty good, hmmmmm? I went ahead and gave her a heavy 0.5 for her PM. Just looking for feedback, I guess.

Without her normal food on board today, it would be expected that she would be lower tonight, not higher. It's good that she didn't go too low without eating. Glad she ate her dinner for you tonight so it would be safe to shoot.

I thought so too. She is actually right about where she has been for the last 3 evenings at PMPS at the 0.5 dose. I thought that was strange. She for sure did not eat what she usually does.

Maybe she was stressing a little from the kids and that kept her numbers higher then they would have been otherwise for not eating?? Cats will make you crazy trying to figure them out! :banghead: :cat:

Yes they will!! Especially for a newbie here like me! She's been around the kids since they were born, you'd think she's get used to them after 8 years. But the 2 year old loves her sooooo much.

Yep it could be stress. If she's acting fine and eating normally now, I wouldn't worrry.
