Blue has not had a dose of insulin for over a month, but his numbers have not met the "off the juice' requirements. His numbers are very good for a day or two and then give a spike. Anytime I get a moderately high number I do a recheck. Sometimes, I seem to get a false reading that does not cause an alarm flag.
Blue is eating Wellness Chicken pate which has good carb numbers and a respectable K number. I know that he gets some EVO dry and a minor amount of SO because my wife lets him get to it. Overall, I'm satisfied with his diet.
I have continued to test two times per day and looking for any trend upward. I've made changes to his spread sheet so that there is a different sheet for each month. I would like some advice as to a course of action since I don't think he requires insulin because I have not received consecutive high numbers for quite a while. I have gotten a good curve back in January and some mini curves that show his low point.
Any thoughts or advice is appreciated.
