Is Mannitol ok for cats?

I've been looking for methyl b12 vitamins for my cat, and I found a few but I really want to find something locally so It can get it to me faster. Are these ingredients ok?

Mannitol, Maize starch, Surface treatment agent E 470b, Methylcobalamin.

Mannitol is a sweetener and will increase blood glucose levels. Any form of starch (maize = corn) will also raise blood glucose levels.

Methyl-B12 is not going to have an overnight effect of blood glucose levels. Amazon will ship quickly if you're ordering Zobaline (which is specifically formulated for diabetic cats). Vitacost, which also supplies methyl-B12 without sweeteners, flavorings, etc. also ships fairly quickly.

Mannitol is a sugar alcohol and may not be good for cats. It is poorly absorbed so carbs not really an issue. It is frequently used as a sweetener.
Maize starch is a carb. However, the amount is a table should not be a concern.
Surface treatment agent E 470b is a release agent that like prevents the tablet mold from sticking to the tablets. It is FDA approved food additive.

Filler agents like a starch is very common since a filler is required since in most cases the amount of active ingredient in a table is very small in relation to the tablet size/weight.

Some caretakers here use Now brand capsules
https://www.amazon.com/Supplements-...sules/dp/B07N4JZCRZ?tag=felinediabetesfdmb-20
It has rice flour and cellulose as filler and stearic acid (a common ingredient that prevent particles from sticking together), silicon dioxide. You can frequently find Now brand supplements locally.
