Interesting # this morning. I still think she'll probably give higher #s in the next day or 2. But then, it's also quite possible that this may be what she needs, too, to get her unstuck. I'm going to give her the full 0.70 oz. of FF T&G @ +2 and see what she does with it. Will get a test +3. I think she may have some tricks up her little furry sleeve... Ya never know with kitties, huh? :lol:

Since I've switched the +2 food with FF T&G, can I increase the food to try and give her about the same amount of calories that she was on before the switch? I think she's not getting enough now, and she's meowing a bit more for food. I don't want to starve her.

Sorry, I can't help you on that, but would love to know the answer to it. I feed only EVO 95%, 1 and 1/2 cans a day, but really she doesn't always eat it at one time or sometimes she eats less. But she still meows for food when the plate is empty, and then I put the 1/2 can and she walks away after a few bites. I know, "IT A CAT" :lol:

Nice numbers today for Blackie though :mrgreen:

what you want to do is replace the amount/calories of the evo with the higher carb - low carb FF T&G.

So, yes. You want to feed her the same number of calories as you were feeding before even if it is more food by weight. You don't want her losing weight if she doesn't need to. Keep her overall calorie intake the same. :-D :-D

That would be for the +2 feeding, of course. So, I've increased her Evo this morning to 0.80 oz. 4x/day, and will be keeping the amount of 1 oz. of FF T&G the same 2x/day. So, even if she gets a bit more calories, that's ok as she'll probably wear them off by pacing anyway. :lol:
