Buddy (17.5 years old) has been having 300 -600 bgs for 9 days now
and a very noisey stomach was well. i give him 1/4 tab pepsid ac 2x daily and b12 shots weekly, but not helping his upste stomach.
should i give him injectable pepsid -is that better , and if so, what is the name ?
are there any tests or anything that i can ask the vet for to help him while I am there?
As always ,thanks very much.

Pepcid only reduces stomach acid, it is not an anti-nausea med. A good med is:
Ondansetron is used to prevent nausea and vomiting caused by cancer chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and surgery.

First, if he isn't eating for more than 2 days, take him to the vet ASAP as he is at risk for hepatic lipidosis, which can kill. Fat breakdown for calories overwhelms the liver, liver can't work right, digestion gets 'broken', cat can't digest food, cat dies.

Gurgles can be normal digestive sounds. Sometimes, adding a probiotic such as Forti Flora (available from our shopping partner Amazon, link at top of page) can be helpful for minor irregularities and many cats like the taste.

How's the poop look? Tootsie roll shape and semi-firm? Pudding poo? Rocks of ages? Diarrhea? Any blood or mucus?

How about odor? Clear the room stench? Normal poop smell?

Feline Constipation has lots of good info on how the digestive tract works.
