Pumpkin

Does anyone give their diabetic kitty pumpkin to help with constipation? Jett really loves the Weruva pumpkin, but now I'm wondering if it is okay given his BG #. He hasn't pooped in a few days, since the diabetic symptoms started, so he needs some help. Thanks!

I use generic Miralax and just put a litting in their canned food.

I'm not familiar with Weruva pumpkin, but many of us use plain canned pumpkin, not pie filling, in our kitty's food. Also, as Larry mentioned, Miralax 1/8 tsp mixed with water in their food will help with constipation.

I either do my own or use the canned plain pumpkin. I give one of my kitties pumpkin every day and he loves it AND it helps keep him regular.
