Okay, so up a bit but I still don't feel comfortable shooting .2. Got 4 hours sleep last night and not looking forward to tonight.

How do you feel about cutting it in half and shooting .1? Your .2 gave you a very nice curve today, but you started with a higher preshot. I don't think we should skip and .1 is about the only thing left. Be sure to check the conversion chart. I agree that it is much easier to be a little more aggressive in the daytime. And use the food like you did today. That worked well.

She is doing beautifully!

One thing I learned early on was.....to shoot only doses that I was comfortable with. If you are not comfortable shooting .2 tonight-- don't shoot it. So much has changed for Kitten, that you don't have data to really support any dose. It is all trials. Today, you know that you had at least a 68 percent drop on .2-- maybe more, you really don't know.

I can understand why you want to reduce-- what are you thinking about shooting?

You better start practing "drops", looks like you might end up shooting that....hopefully she will go OTJ!

Sue, do you know where the info is about measuring drops?

Here's the info from Sheila and Beau.

Here are my microdose instructions again:
The drop method I use is to practice with a used syringe and water or expired insulin and draw up 1u, then twist the barrel (clockwise if the needle is pointed away from you) slightly until a drop forms on the end of the needle. It will be about the size of the end of a straight pin. Flick it off and twist to form another one. Practice until you get 10 drops that size from one unit and 5 drops that size from a half unit. Those would be .1u drops, so you can dose fairly easily in any increment of .1u. If you want to perfect that, try for a drop HALF that size. Those would be .05u drops. Loads of fun to draw! I have to take off my glasses to see to do that.

Basically I'm planning on shooting a hub, as little as you can load in the syringe and know it's there.

Hub is the part of the syringe the needle attaches into. You just pull the syringe until you get the plunger to move a bit.

And 293 +1, not that much of a drop, but already a drop. Thinking about giving the other 1/3 of the food minus the bump for later now rather than +2.
*decided I will wait til 2 and see before food

Maybe test at 1.5 and see if you can catch the drop earlier, if it is happening.

Thanks for the tip, I think we're seeing something now, +2.5 and 263. Gave her food.

*+3 205
