I saw where some people said that their cat was on vetsulin, and went into remission. Has anyones cat on Prozinc ever went into remission?

Yes. We have had cats on ProZinc go into remission. Vetsulin is not a good insulin for cats. It os very harsh and it is not as long lasting as ProZinc. The American Animal Hospital Association no longer recommends Vetsulin for cats. There are better options like ProZinc and Lantus.

Ok I will talk to my vet and try to change. How hard is it to transition?
 
Not hard at all. You just start on the next cycle when you’re ready. The dose would be similar to the current dose of Vetsulin. We take into account the BG numbers that the cat is getting on the current insulin.
