Hi everyone,
My good friend Alain has been using a Bayer Contour EZ for a while. He recently changed for a Prodigy (cuz the tests strips cost half the price of the Coutour's!) and eversince that change, we got unstable results. Maybe his cat is unstable (even though she was stable until he changed the glucometer), but just to make sure, he started to test 2 or 3 times in a row to see how accurate it is.
For exemple,
Within a matter of seconds he got :
83 - 104 - 97
then 122 - 104 - 112
then 97 - 104
Also eversince he started using the Prodigy, the results got more elevated... the cat shows signs of hypo when her results are what used to be a perfect nadir!
Is it always like this? I mean how is it possible to rely on such unstable results? What can he do?
Here's Farine's spreadsheet : https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc ... _web#gid=0
Thanks for your help!!
