problems with lantus?

hi i am just curious my cat tigger is on lantus 2units twice a day & has been on for about 3 weeks now. my main concern at the moment is her breathing it has been off & sometimes heavy and strange noises. she is at the vet right now had to leave her for the day. they did chest x-ray & he said some markings nothing serious but have to give her a medication 2x a day as well as insulin. curious if this could possibly be a reaction to the insulin. if anybody else had breathing issues with lantus? please advise thanks

What medication did he give ? What did he call these markings? Bronchial inflammation, tramlines, donuts? I am wondering if your vet is thinking something along the lines of asthma.

sorry didn't know how to remove the 911. her breathing issues must have been when sugar was way too high. she is still high but not like she was.the vet really never gave me an answer but once she stopped drinking soo much water & urinating as much breathing got better thankfully & no more medicine for breathing problems. now if only i can get her sugar regualated.
