Problem on my Bombay

My beloved Mike, a bombay cat, has not eat anything for almost a week. I wonder what happen to him, he is not playful anymore and just keep on sleeping for a whole day. My friend said that he might be stressed, but I wonder how and why.

I would take your cat to the vet to check why he has not eaten for days. He may be sick and need medicine.
Is he diabetic and are you giving insulin?

When a cat doesn't eat, any fatty stores start getting broken down. The fats get transported to the liver. If too much fat moves to the liver at one time, it overloads it and the liver starts to shut down. This is called hepatic lipidosis. It can ocurr within 3 days of no eating. You're already past that.
