? Probiotic - constipation and/or diarrhea ?

I have my Ti-Mousse occasionally constipated! He doesn't care for pumpkin.
My little very old girl has occasional diarrhea.
Could probiotic (Florastor - S.Boulardii) help with constipation and/or diarrhea ? If so, how much should I give them ?

I saw Boulardii being discussed recently - Marje shared this helpful post. It has dosing info near the bottom, under the heading “Emergency Stop Diarrhea” S boulardii Administration for Cats with Severe Diarrhea"
