My normally complacent kitty, Neko, decided this morning he would have nothing to do with his insulin shot and got up while I had the needle inserted. Split second decision was made to finish the shot while cat was in motion so I did. Mind you, he'd just moved six inches but afterwards wondered if I'd done the right thing or if I should have retreated when he started to bolt. Shot did get in but I imagine it hurt more than usual. Need guidance for next time please.
