A quick question for the Lev users. The vial of Prozinc was supposed to be rolled slowly a few times before filling the needle. With all the stuff I've read on Lev, I don't recall seeing any reference to doing any rolling with it. I asked the pharmacist, and she said "it can't hurt", but looking for the wisdom of the board.

Thanks,
Lu-Ann

Shaking or jostling is definitely a no-no which is why we say don't put it in the refrigerator door. I doubt rolling it a little, carefully, would hurt it, but is completely unnecessary.

That is one question I asked before starting too  .

I hadn't read anywhere and since I was starting at the end of one vial I had a few days to ask about it. There is nothing to mix together with Lev which is great that the consistency will be the same from the first to the last drop.

Keep it off the top shelf and not in the door. I keep mine in the box underneath the meat drawer so it doesn't get too cold next to the freezer and it doesn't get jostled every time I open the fridge.
